Madison's Questions Answered!
1. What is your favourite make-up product right now?
In the summer I am all about mascara and I recently discovered the amazing Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara. I actually quickly picked this up in Boots without thinking because I really needed a new mascara. So I wasn't expecting much but I am very impressed. The brush is thin and curved on one side, it reminds me on a mix between L'Oreal Telescopic and Maybelline Falsies, for less than a fiver. I haven't heard anyone mention it before and I think it deserves a bit more credit.
2. Where in the world would you like to visit next?
My favourite place in the world is America and I would love to go back there again! I also really want to see more of the continent, such as Italy and France.
3. What are you most scared of?
I absolutely hate the thought of blood and needles!!!
4. What is the one thing you want most right now?
BETTER WEATHER!! Please, it is supposed to be summer?!
5. What is the most expensive thing you have ever bought?
Possibly my iPhone 4S? which was around £600.
6. Where do you like to shop most?
For clothing I like H&M, Hollister and we all love a bit of Primark. For cosmetics I go for Boots and LUSH.
7. Do you have any annoying habits?
I am always touching my hair and I randomly laugh A LOT..
8. Whats your favourite food?
I love sushi! Most people think it's disgusting(eww raw fish) and I was one of those people until I actually tried it about a year ago. I was skeptical at firs as I don't particularly like fish but my instant reaction was "OMG this stuff is amazing!" If it is your first time I would really recommend going to a YO Sushi restaurant or trying the Tesco sushi.
9. Whats the funniest thing that happened to you recently?
I was in McDonalds with my friends on Friday and we went to the lady's toilets. This crazy drunk guy walked in and started to hug me. I panicked and ran out, then he turned to my friend and said "it's nice to be nice". We couldn't stop laughing!!
10. What is your favourite movie?
To be honest, I am very easily entertained and I am the one that comes out the cinema loving it while everyone else hated it. I like comedy, horror, romance(pretty much everything) I can't really choose one.
11. Something you need or need to do everyday?
Shower, I just love standing under a long, warm shower and thinking. I need to go at least once a day or I just feel dirty.. if you know what I mean?

My Questions To You!

  1. What is your favourite makeup product of all time?
  2. What is your favourite nail polish of all time?
  3. What are your favourite and least favourite kind of blog posts to read?
  4. What is your favourite hairstyle?
  5. What was the last thing you bought?
  6. If you could go back in time, what would you do?
  7. What is your dream job?
  8. What is your favourite quote or saying?
  9. What is your favourite TV Series?
  10. If you won £1000, what would you do with it?
  11. Any plans for the summer?

Today we made it!! I hit 50+ followers and I really want to thank you guys. When I started in February, I didn't really expect to stick to it let alone get so many lovely people following me. My goal was fifty so this was like a little early birthday present from you guys! I want to let you know that I put hours of thought and effort into all of my posts and I still get excited every time I get a new comment or follower. It can be quite overwhelming but I really appreciate every last one of you.

TAG! £20 Makeup Challenge :)

What's crackalackin'?! :)
Like I always say, I absolutely love tags and I get a little overexcited about them. When I first saw the '$20 Makeup Challenge' going around beauty gurus it looked like so much fun and I really wanted to try it. As I live in the UK, I had to change it to the '£20 Makeup Challenge' but it's basically the same thing.

I am really interested in finding new budget makeup products/brands so this was the perfect tag for me and I would really love to see you do it too! I TAG YOU, so please give it a go and say that I tagged you :)

The rules are quite simply, you need to create a whole makeup look using only products (and tools) that would add up to a total of £20 or less. A good technique is to use some products for more than one thing, e.g. you could use a lipstick as a lipstick and a blusher.

1-Foundation: Natural Collection Loose Powder(Neutral Translucent) +£1.99

2-Concealer: Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer(Fair) +£4.19
3-Blusher: Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks(Peach Melba) +1.99

4-Eyelash Curler: Primark Eyelash Curler +£1
5-Mascara: Natural Collections Lash Build Mascara(Brown/Black) +£0 (3 for 2)
2-Eyeshadow Primer: Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer(Fair) +£0
6-Eyeshadow Palette: Beauty UK Palette(Earth Child) +£3.99
7-Eyeliner: NYC Eye Pencil(Dark Brown) +£1.99
7-Eyebrow Pencil: NYC Eye Pencil(Dark Brown) +£0
8-Eyebrow Gel: MUA Clear Mascara(Shade 1) +£1

9-Lipstick: MUA Lipstick(Shade 15 Juicy) +£1
10-Lipgloss: MUA Professional Out There Lipgloss(Peach Shimmer) +£2

..Drumroll please..?
It all added up to £19.15 :D
I DID IT with 85p to spare!! proud of me? LOL
Remember I tagged you, so you need to see if you can beat my score ;)

I hope you enjoyed this fun little post.
Feel free to leave me any questions or comments and I will get back to you ASAP :D

Haul: More LUSH Goodies!

Well hello! <3
By now you guys will probably know that I freaking love LUSH!! In my last Lush haul (here), I mentioned getting the 'Lush Times' magazine. Looking through it I discovered so many great products and I got an idea of a few things that I wanted to get.
So yes, I went to Lush again and I couldn't help myself...

'AMERICAN CREAM' Hair Conditioner(250g) -£8.50

I have noticed my spilt ends going a bit wacko at the moment, so I thought a nice conditioner would do me some good. For starters it smells amazing (apparently strawberry vanilla milkshake scented). This is a double strength, creamy conditioner. It is supposed to leave your hair extra soft and sweet smelling, so we will see how that one goes.

'IT'S RAINING MEN' Shower Gel(250g) -£8.50
After falling in love with my 'HONEY I WASHED THE KIDS' soap, I went back to get a new chunk of it. I totally prefer shower gels and I pretty much never buy soaps. So when I discovered that it comes in a shower gel, I was over the moon and I just grabbed it.

'VANILLARY' Gorilla Perfume(Solid) -£6
These looked rather interesting but unfortunately this was a big disappointment for me. It is supposed to be a solid perfume with a nice buttery consistency. The packaging kind of makes it look like a chapstick but also makes it easy to use if you are on the go. To be honest, I don't love it. I think the concept is great but the flavours, not so much. I thought that it smelt better in the shop and when I took it home I didn't like it at all. I expected it to be very sweet and well, vanillary, but it is very sour. It is supposed to also have notes on Jasmine too. But the scent just reminds me of lemons and not in a nice, fresh way, it is almost slightly like pee. Even if you did like it, I don't think it would last very long anyway but the scents also come in spray form.

'TEA TREE WATER' Toner Water(100g) -£3.75
I've never really been into toners and I would typically just use cold water after cleansing. However I heard that this was really good for spots and I wanted to give it a go. I love the packaging because you can just spritz it directly on to your face. I haven't seen any noticeable results yet but it feels nice on the skin(as if it is doing something).

I hope you enjoyed this little haul of mine :)

Feel free to leave me any questions or comments and I will get back to you ASAP :D

NOTD: Nail Foils + Step by Step Tutorial!!

Hello Girlies!<3
After raving about the Primark nail foil/wraps in my fashion haul , I was requested to do a tutorial on how to apply them. I thought this was a great idea because they can be a bit confusing to use at first. Just for quickness I have only done my ring finger and I actually really like the look of this. You can adapt it to however many fingers you like.. or even your toes (tehe!). I am no expert and I know that there are other methods, but this is the way that works best for me.

What you will need!

  • Small Scissors
  • Nail File
  • Nail Foils/Wraps
  • Base Coat (optional)
  • Clear Top Coat
  • Nail Polish (in the colour of your choice)
  • Hairdryer
  • Apply a base coat and paint your nails as normal.
  • They recommend that you apply the foils on to bare nails but I find that they stick better on top of a nail polish.

  • Wait for your nail polish to dry.

  • Pick a nail foil closest to the size of your nail and carefully peel it from the sheet.

  • Lightly place the rounded edge on to your nail to check that it fits properly.

  • Holding it from the tip, blasts some heat at the sticky side with your hairdryer.
  • I recommend using the highest heat setting but at a low speed so it doesn't fly out of your hand.
  • Hold it for about 5 seconds.
  • This should soften the foil making it and a lot stickier.
  • Apply to the nail with the rounded edge on your cuticle.
  • Press down hard to stick it in place.

  • Trim off the tip.

  • File down to remove any excess.

  • Finish off with a clear top coat to seal it in and add some shine.

Voila thats it! Pretty simple, right?
They should last you a good 3-5 days or more if you redo the top coat.
I hope that helped some people out :)

Feel free to leave me any questions or comments and I will get back to you ASAP :D

Collective Fashion Haul: H&M and PRIMARK!!

Hey Everyone!<3
It is slowly but surely getting warmer and you know what that means? It's time to go out on the hunt for some nice, summery, bargains. I have really been loving H&M and Primark at the moment. So today I thought I would do a bit of a collective haul of the things that I've picked up over the last few weeks..
I know I have done quite a few hauls recently but I really enjoy seeing them and I am sure most of you do. And I will have a beauty haul coming up soon(ish), so keep your eyes peeled for that x

  • Isn't this top just so cute and summery?! I dont understand why it would be on sale LOL!
H&M Floral Tank Top- Was:£7.99 Sale:£5
  • I was in need of some basic light jeans for a while and on a trip to H&M I found these babies.
H&M Light Wash Jeans- £29.99
  • I saw this on my way out and OMG £1 for a gorgeous bracelet like that!! I had to get it!!
H&M Bracelet- Was:£1.99 Sale:£1
  • I spotted these on the sale rack and I thought they were so cute. I've always wanted some bright denim shorts. I just love the pockets and the distressed detailing. Plus they were only £3 (what a bargain!)

Primark Orange Denim Shorts- Was:£8 Sale:£3
  • I was actually looking for the black and white Alexander McQueen style scarves that Primark do. But unfortunately they only had them in tacky bright colours so I decided to just get the neck scarves instead. I wear as hairbands tied into a bow and they look so cute!
Primark Skull Neck Scarves- £2.50
  • I agree that these are a bit odd and definitely not everyones cup of tea. But for some reason I was drawn to Primark's printed leggings and I just think they are really cool.
Primark Black Aztec Print Leggings- £6

Primark Tropical Print Leggings- £6
  • I don't exactly know what to call these but they are just string, friendship style, bracelets. I love the little crystals and the colour combination.
Primark Friendship Bracelets- £2
  • Typical of me, I couldn't go home without picking up a scarf.. I think square scarves like this are such statement pieces and can really spice up a basic outfit.
Primark Nautical Square Scarf- £3
  • This was on sale for £1!! I know it is almost Summer but I can still keep if for the cooler days.
Primark Rose Jumper- Sale:£1

  • I saw these nail foils at the checkout and OMG they are so pretty!! Sorry that you can't see them very well but it has a pastel blue background with white polka dots and a gorgeous floral print. At £1 I thought these were such a steal because at Boots they tend to be around £8. I have never been into fake/acrylic nails but nail foils are amazing!! They are fairly easy to use, they don't damage your nails and they last a lot longer (not to mention they are adorable!)
  • Update: For my step by step tutorial on how to apply them click here!
Primark Nail Foils- £1

I hope you liked my haul!
